About Us

Vizzio's Institute of Martial Arts, (VIMA) is located at 1275 Bloomfield Ave. Bldg.2, Unit 11 in Fairfield, NJ. It is part of The Junction complex also known as Pio Costa. Although the school has been around for almost 40 years in Hudson County, it first opened its doors in Fairfield in December of 2007.

The Kung-Fu program at VIMA is suited for ages 3 - 103, from pee-wees to professionals. Our Kung Fu program has everything you need!
Our Fu-Box (kickboxing) classes are best suited for adults and have alternate moves and positions for any kind of physical limitations one might have.
The VIMA Yoga program is a private one-on-one program, for the time being, and is a unique system that does not require any level of flexibility whatsoever.
Our well balanced, yet diverse programs truly cater to a mind, body, and spirit training experience that will satisfy all needs no matter how great or small.

Our Facilites

Our facilities are fully equiped with professional equipment including wave masters, heavy bags, speed bags, double end bags, medicine balls, targets, shields and more!
We have bleachers for spectators that are great for viewing classes or special events such as demonstrations and tournaments. We have a changing room for students who can't come dressed in uniform and a changing table for our little cubs who might need a diaper change. We also have a study corner for kids who need to finish homework before class and a supervised play area for kids of all ages that can be seen from the work out mat. Convenience is not an issue for any member at VIMA!

Outings

Being a family run and family oriented business, VIMA takes part in many school outings through out the year. Some of our outings include skiing, camping, family picnics, paintball, bowling, charity events, tournaments and more. One of the things that seperate us from a gym is our dedication to our students and our relationship with them. Here at VIMA everyone is Family!
